Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

To maintain the safety and integrity of our testing team and partners, all developers utilizing AppBanana must adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Prohibited Applications

We do not recruit testers for, nor facilitate testing of, applications that contain or promote any of the following categories of content:

  • Illegal Goods & Services: Apps facilitating the sales of illegal drugs, weapons, or unlicensed financial schemes.
  • Deceptive & Malicious Software: Apps containing malware, trojans, phishing scripts, spyware, or apps designed specifically to gain unauthorized access to tester devices.
  • Adult Content: Apps containing pornography, sexual violence, or highly explicit sexual content.
  • Gambling & Betting: Unlicensed gambling applications or real-money gaming apps operating outside of local regulatory approvals.
  • Deceptive Review Tactics: Apps designed to manipulate Google's review algorithm by pretending to be tools or games while acting as completely empty shells.

2. Tester Harassment

Developers must not attempt to harvest, collect, or monitor personal information of the individual testers assigned to their app track. Any attempts to contact testers outside of the testing track, or gather phone numbers, email addresses, or coordinates, will result in immediate termination of the service.

3. Policy Violations & Enforcement

If we find that a developer's app violates this Acceptable Use Policy after testing has commenced:

  • We will suspend testing activity immediately.
  • We will contact the developer on WhatsApp to request a remediation or explanation.
  • If the violation is flagrant (e.g., malware or explicit content), we reserve the right to cancel the order immediately with no refund.
